Working at a college can be an incredibly rewarding experience. Corbin Crable had the privilege of working at Johnson Community College for over six years in the journalism and media communications department. During this time, he taught freshman a variety of courses such as a mass media survey course, an introductory news writing course and a course on global journalism. In addition to teaching, Corbin Crable also served as the faculty advisor for the college’s official student run newspaper publication. This allowed him to help the students put what they were learning in his classes into practice. He enjoyed sharing his knowledge and being able to help advise the next generation of journalism and media professionals.
